Evelhoch joins NC LIVE

The NCSU Libraries is very pleased to announce that Zebulin (Zeb) Evelhoch will join NC LIVE as Electronic Resources Librarian effective 16 May 2018.

As NC LIVE’s first Electronic Resources Librarian, Evelhoch will modernize the way NC LIVE manages its electronic resources to increase efficiency, improve library access to NC LIVE’s collections, to increase usage, and he will pursue innovative ways to connect information seekers with relevant library content where and when they need it.

Evelhoch is currently the Electronic Resources Librarian at Central Washington University where he oversees the Serials Department, which includes strategic planning, staff and budget oversight, workflow management, and resource licensing.  He also troubleshoots access issues, compiles statistics, and improves access to resources for patrons. Prior to joining Central Washington University, Evelhoch was the Technical Services & Acquisitions Coordinator at Central Oregon Community College where he gained experience managing metadata and providing reference services to patrons. He also has five years of public library experience from his work at the Park City Library in Utah. 

Evelhoch earned the Master of Library Science from the University of North Texas and the Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Utah.
